RUPES 1-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
RUPES warrants to the original purchaser only, that RUPES power tools shall be free from material or workmanship defects for a period of ONE YEAR from the date of purchase (3 years for Cyclo Pro Models). To the extent permitted by law, RUPES sole obligation and your exclusive remedy under this warranty is expressly limited to the replacement or repair, without charge, of those parts determined by RUPES to be defective. Power tools that have been subjected to misuse (including but not limited to overloading and use not specified in the user’s manual), neglect, faulty maintenance, alteration, damage caused by improper use of chemicals, repairs by unauthorized parties, or damage caused by normal “wear & tear”, are not covered.
To invoke coverage under this warranty, purchaser must return the power tool, including the original proof of purchase (sales receipt), to the RUPES USA Factory Service Center. In the event the repairs are deemed non-warranty the repair charges shall be borne by purchaser. This limited warranty does not apply to accessory items such as pads, backing plates, chemicals and normally wearable motor parts such as bearings, blades, brushes, etc.
The warranty described herein is not transferable to other individuals beyond the original purchaser. Only tools purchased from an authorized RUPES USA distributor are eligible for repair under this warranty.
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS GIVEN IN LIEU OF ALL OTHERS INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND EXCLUDES ALL INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so these limitations may not apply to you. This LIMITED WARRANTY gives you specific legal rights that may vary from state to state.
OUT OF WARRANTY/NON-WARRANTY FLAT RATE REPAIR
For tools that have been damaged as a result of mishandling, are beyond their original 1-year warranty period, or are in need of general repair to maintain optimal performance RUPES USA offers a flat rate repair program. The flat rate repair program includes most common repair parts, labor, cleaning, preventative maintenance, inspection and testing as well as a 90-day warranty on all work performed.
Standard ground shipping and handling for destinations within the continental US is included with your flat rate repair. Expedited shipping and handling or services outside of the continental US are available upon request, but at the customers’ expense.
ELECTRIC TOOLS ($110) – The electric tool flat rate fee includes all shipping and handling via standard ground service to and from the RUPES USA repair facility for customers within the continental USA. All tools will be completely inspected, cleaned, and lubricated by a factory-trained technician. All tools will receive carbon brush replacement, dust shroud replacement (depending on model) regardless of wear at no additional charge. Cords, electronic modules, front and rear plastic housings will also be replaced at no additional charge if necessary. A new backing plate will be provided if necessary and the motor assembly (rotor and stator) may also be replaced if deemed necessary by the repair technician. If any repairs above and beyond the flat rate inclusions are required you will receive an estimate for the additional parts and labor before any work is performed.
PNEUMATIC TOOLS ($80) – The pneumatic tool flat rate fee includes all shipping and handling via standard ground service to and from the RUPES USA repair facility for customers within the continental USA. All tools will be completely inspected, cleaned, and lubricated by a factory-trained technician. All tools will receive new O-rings and vanes as part of any repair service at no additional charge. Broken or damaged housings, speed control levers, and valves will be replaced at no charge if necessary. The flat-rate fee DOES NOT INCLUDE repair or replacement of the air motor, eccentric set, or backing plate and the related labor for these repairs. Any repair required for these parts will be billed at the standard labor and materials rates.
PORTABLE VACUUM SYSTEMS ($199) – The portable vacuum flat rate fee includes all shipping and handling via standard ground service to and from the RUPES USA repair facility for customers within the continental USA. All units will be completely inspected, cleaned, and calibrated by a factory-trained technician. All vacuum units will receive new carbon brushes, regardless of wear, and control module calibration. Gaskets, power cords, and filters will be replaced/serviced as needed. The flat-rate fee DOES NOT INCLUDE repair or replacement of the vacuum motor, housing, hoses, canister, wheels, or connectors.
ALL CYCLO TOOL MODELS (ESTIMATE ONLY) – Due to the number of generational differences and availability of parts, there is no flat-rate repair program available for Cyclo tools at this time. Our team will provide an estimate for any non-warranty repairs prior to beginning work on your Cyclo polisher.
