SMART CONTROL SYSTEM

SIMPLE, INTUITIVE CONTROLS

Activate the vacuum in either manual or automatic mode and adjust the suction all from one control knob. The simple, intuitive design makes the S-Series Vacuum easy to setup and easy to use.

CONNECTIONS FOR MULTIPLE SANDERS

Two pneumatic connections and one electrical outlet for multiple tool connections. And, yes, the powerful suction of the S-Series vacuum can support up to two users simultaneously!

HIGH VISIBILTY INDICATORS

The S-Series Vacuum is so quiet that in many shops technicians wonít even know it has been activated. High visibility LED indicators provide clear status information. GREEN indicates the vacuum has been activated. YELLOW illuminates when liquid levels have reached the maximum. The RED LED signals that the vacuum is ready for routine maintenance at an authorized RUPES service center.

2-WAY VACUUM FITTING

Included standard on all S245 systems is the 2-way anti-static vacuum union complete with 1 clapet valve. This enables the use of one or two tools without the need to change the fitting.

SOFT GRIP HANDLE

All the S245 models come with a soft grip handle for better grip and maneuverability

BUILT-IN STORAGE 

Located in the rear of the S245 is a built-in attachment storage compartment. An ideal place to store the power cord and the extraction hose when not in use. 

ANTI-STATIC COAXIAL HOSE 

Each S245 dustless sanding system comes standard with a highly flexible anti-static coaxial hose for use with pneumatic sanders. At nearly 16.5 feet long the standard hose provides a generous amount of movement and is well suited for most shops. Longer hoses and other hose options are available for purchase from your authorized RUPES distributor. 

AUTOMATIC FILTER CLEANING

To ensure maximum extraction efficiency under all working conditions, the S245 vacuums incorporate RUPES patented automatic filter cleaning technology. A system of valves use the air flow generated during operation and briefly reverses flow in alternation every 30 seconds. This innovative feature ensures a seamless and efficient cleaning action without any interruption to the sanding operation. The frequent and automatic cleaning of the filter elements maintains optimal vacuum for maximum dust capture performance throughout the entire sanding cycle.

DESIGNED TO DELIVER VALUE

CARTRIDGE FILTERS

All the vacuum cleaners in the S2 Series are equipped with a pair of double-panel filters to eliminate dust from re-entering the work environment or contaminating sensitive work areas. These filters are good for the life of the S245, provided that proper dust capture bags are used and changed regularly within the canister.

 

Other vacuum systems use expensive filters that must be changed regularly to maintain performance, adding operating cost to the unit.

FILTER BAGS

The S-Series Vacuum includes a disposable dust capture filter bag, standard. Replacement bags are inexpensive and available for purchase at your Authorized RUPES Distributor.

HIGH CAPACITY CANISTER

The S245 features a high capacity 45-liter (11.8 gallon) canister. This allows the unit to safely capture nearly 12 gallons of sanded body filler before the filter bag has to be changed.

SYSTAINER T-LOC SYSTEMS

The S2 Series Vacuum comes with a quick connection feature designed for compatibility with all SYSTAINER T-LOC modular systems. Utilize these adaptable cases to conveniently store extra tools, abrasives, and various supplies. Itís also possible to stack numerous SYSTAINER T-LOC modular boxes, securely interlocking them, in order to establish a customized and orderly sanding workstation that remains free from dust.
