The BigFoot Detailing Academy is our state-of-the-art training facility located in our US headquarters near Denver, Colorado. Classes are offered here for a variety of topics and indsutries ranging from bodyshop basics and dustless sanding up to high-level topcoat sanding and polishing techniques for detailers. No two classes are alike because they are crafted specifically to the needs of the students in each course.
Depending on the topic, duration, and class size prices vary. Check out the current options on the BigFoot Academy schedule to see pricing for each specific class. If you don’t see a class that fits your needs now don’t worry! We add new classes regularly.
Students attending classes at the BigFoot Detailing Academy should fly into Denver International Airport (DIA) which is approximately 30 minutes by car from the facility. Most classes will begin in the morning so either plan for an early AM arrival the same day, or arrive a day prior to be at the faciltiy on time for the start of class. Airfare is not included in the class fee.
There are several hotel options within a 5-10 mile radius of the facility. Any search for a hotel should center on Louisville, Colorado (zip code 80027). RUPES has a pre-negotiated corporate discount rate at the nearby Omni Interlocken Resort. A link to book at this site is provided upon completion of your registration. Rates at the Omni range from $120-$180 per night depending on season.
Each attendee in the class must register themselves individually and pay for their spot in the class. Because class sizes are kept relatively small we only have so many spots available. If for some reason a class does not have enough for all your staff to attend contact us to make arrangements.
Most classes include a “CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION” specific to the course you attended. RUPES USA does not specifically certify skills, but for our multi-day advanced classes students are required to demonstrate that they have understood and retained the concepts presented in the class before the end of the class.
No. RUPES does not sell direct to the consumer so we do not offer the option to purchase product at our training facility. This means that our training is centered on improving skills, not selling products! Many “trainings” offered today are multi-day sales pitches designed to sell products instead of teaching. By removing the sales aspect from our training we are free to focus on the reason you came to the BigFoot Academy: learning. In some cases our classes at the BigFoot Academy will be hosted in conjunction with an authorized distributor and in those cases you can place orders with them, but this activity is separate from the training aspects of the academy.
Training at the RUPES USA BigFoot Academy is purely technical in nature. We do not train on business strategy, marketing, or other operational topics. If you are looking for the ultimate place to improve your technical skills this is it. The focus on only technical training allows us to guarantee the highest quality skills-related training offered in the industry today.
YES, but not on the same scale that we can provide here at our headquarters. Regional trainings are supported by our network of authorized distribution partners so if you’re interested in training in your area please reach out to the distributor in your area and express your interest in attending a RUPES training event near you.
